2015 Annual Community Report pertaining to the programs and services provided by the Calhoun County Public Health Department. This Annual Report provides an overall picture of the significant public health programs and services that are provided each and every day to the residents of Calhoun County. 2015 represented a monumental year for the CCPHD.

The year marked so many milestones for both the health department and consequently for the community. These milestones included; a new Recycling Center in Albion, the implementation of a Michigan Adolescent Pregnancy and Parenting Program (Mi-APPP), the development and placement of a third School-Based Health Center at the Lakeview Middle School, and the opening of a new satellite office in Albion.

The overall mission of the CCPHD is to work together to enhance our community’s total well-being by promoting healthy lifestyles, protecting health, and preventing disease. Please take the time to review this report to be able understand and appreciate all of the hard work that our staff provide to be able to accomplish this mission.
