GOAL: Individuals and families in Calhoun County will have the economic support to improve the quality of their lives

RATIONALE FOR INCLUDING INDICATOR: The United States Department of Agriculture defines food insecurity as a lack of access, at time, to enough food for an active, healthy life for all household members; or, uncertain availability of nutritionally adequate foods. Food insecure individuals might need to make choices among basic needs such as food, housing and medical bills.
