Non-Fatal Opiate/Heroin Overdoses
Data Sheet from the Substance Abuse Council from 2015 to September 2018. Deaths due to accidental intoxication with drugs, exceeds all other accidental causes of deaths. In 2017, of the 44 accidental intoxication deaths in Calhoun County, 3 people had a single drug while 41 had multiple drugs in their system. Heroin was present in 19 drug-related fatalities.
